‘Israel’ confiscates 1500 Donums in Hebron
Occupied Hebron (QNN)- Israeli authorities confiscated nearly 1500 Donums of the land of Dura in southern occupied Hebron after applying a decision issued in 1987, which orders to confiscate three lands claiming that they are “State Property”.
The confiscated land is populated with hundreds of Palestinians, who have built hundreds of residential and agricultural structures and planted hundreds of trees in the land.
Member and lawyer of the Legal Service in the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Salah Shalaldeh, said that the Israeli decision back in 1987 was based on a military order. However, Israeli authorities edited a plan attached to the military order in last July.
Following the Israeli step, a meeting with experts was held for Palestinian owners of structures and lands in the area. They decided to file objections since some parts of the lands are located in B area.
The Israeli decision was taken ignoring that the targeted land is owned by the Palestinian families of Amr, Abu Sharar, Khatib, Shaheen, Dudin, Hreibat and others.
