Israel commits massacres, besieges hospitals, and escalates aggression in northern Gaza

Gaza (Quds News Network) – At least 33 Palestinians have been confirmed killed due to Israeli airstrikes on residential homes in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip since yesterday evening, according to local and medical sources.
Additionally, 10 others were killed early today in the Israeli bombing of a school affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), serving as a shelter for displaced individuals in the Al-Remal neighborhood, west of Gaza City.
This comes as the Israeli army’s radio announced that it is expected to expand its military offensive in the northern Gaza Strip in the coming weeks.
Meantime, the Israeli occupation forces continue to besiege Al-Amal Hospital and the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, for the sixth consecutive day.
Local media sources reported that Israeli forces targeted the central area in Khan Yunis, destroying residential buildings. Artillery shelling by Israel was reported east of Khan Yunis, while airstrikes targeted the city center, causing a house to catch fire.
In Gaza City, the occupying Israeli army fired artillery and shots around the Al-Shifa Medical Complex. Its forces are positioned meters away from the complex and at the Communications junction south of the Al-Remal neighborhood.
Sources noted that the Israeli army is besieging the universities area and schools sheltering displaced individuals south of Al-Remal and firing intense shots in the area. Furthermore, artillery shelling targeted the Al-Sabra neighborhood early today.
Catastrophic situation in Rafah
In another development, the Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that the health situation in Rafah is catastrophic and worsening daily amidst the congestion of hundreds of thousands of displaced people.
The Palestinian Red Crescent stated, “We have a significant shortfall in providing relief aid to displaced families in Rafah city.”
Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression on the Gaza Strip for the 115th consecutive day, causing an unprecedented humanitarian and health crisis, as well as extensive destruction of homes and infrastructure. The aggression has resulted in more than 26,000 martyrs and over 87,000 injuries.
