‘Israel’ closes West Bank, Gaza for elections

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The Israeli occupation authorities on Monday announced imposing a comprehensive closure on the Palestinian territories starting Tuesday, under the pretext of the Israeli Knesset elections.

The spokesman for the Israeli occupation army, Avichay Adraee, tweeted on Monday that “upon an evaluation of the security condition and directions by the political level, a comprehensive closure will be imposed on the West Bank, while border crossings with the Gaza strip will be closed on the day of the elections”.

“All border crossings with Gaza will be also closed during the Jewish Passover holiday”, he added.

Israelis will cast their votes tomorrow for the fourth time in two years, as the conflicts between the parties prevented the formation of a stable Israeli government.
