‘Israel’ closes murder case committed by settlers under self-defense claim
Occupied Lod (QNN)- The Israeli Public Prosecution closed the case of Musa Hassouneh, a Palestinian man from occupied Lod holding Israeli citizenship, under the pretext of self-defense. Hassouneh was murdered on May 10th, 2021 by five settlers, however, none of them was brought to court or even interrogated.
The suspects are all Israeli settlers, residing in occupied Lod. They were all arrested last May but they were all released five days later.
The court said that weapons are widely used in the occupied city, which is why it cannot identify if the suspects’ fire was the one, which killed Hassouneh.
Hassouneh’s family was not informed when the suspects were arrested and when they were released.
Hassouneh was killed last May by Israeli settlers during violent lynching attacks against native Palestinians.
