Israel Bombed Its Own Prisoners in Gaza Twice, Reveals Hamas

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Hamas stated that the Israeli military has deliberately bombarded Israeli prisoners twice in Gaza. Abu Ubaida, the spokesperson for Al-Qassam Brigades, said Israel bombed a site holding Israeli prisoners, then struck it again to ensure their deaths.

“We have intelligence confirming the enemy intentionally targeted the location to kill the prisoners and their guards,” he said. Abu Ubaida revealed that Hamas fighters tried to rescue the prisoners, managing to retrieve one, whose fate remains unknown.

Hamas held Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his government, and the army fully responsible for the attack and the safety of the remaining prisoners.

Last week, the Israeli military admitted its role in the deaths of six Israeli prisoners in Gaza. The incident occurred in August, during an airstrike on a tunnel near Khan Younis. Israeli media outlet Channel 12 reported that the military informed the prisoners’ families of its findings.

This admission has deepened outrage over Israel’s handling of prisoners held in Gaza. Critics say the government failed to prioritize their safety during military operations.

The revelations come amid a growing scandal surrounding Netanyahu’s office. Last month, reports exposed a covert team working under his direction to block prisoner exchange deals.

The team manipulated intelligence and fabricated documents to sabotage efforts to secure the prisoners’ release. Analysts say the strategy aimed to maintain a hardline stance, despite public and familial pressure to bring the prisoners home.
