Israel bombards tents of displaced families in Al-Mawasi

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Israel’s army bombarded tents of displaced families in Al-Mawasi in Khan Yunis, which the Israeli army has announced as a safe area, killing at least 50 civilians and injuries 100 others.

The Israeli army carried out at least 5 airstrikes on hundreds of tents in Al-Mawasi west of Khan Yunis. Israeli quadcopters also opened fire at civil defense teams, which rushed towards the area to evacuate the victims.

The targeted area is a crowded place where displaced families gather, as the Israeli army had pushed thousands of displaced people to flee from Rafah to this location.

The timing of the targeting is also one of the most crowded periods, as the heat of the sun at this time keeps the displaced persons in their tents, which means that the tents were full at the moment of the attack.

The Government Media Office: The Israeli occupation army committed a major massacre by bombing displaced persons’ camps in the Al-Nus area of Khan Younis (southern Gaza Strip).
