Israel Bombards Cafeteria in Nuseirat Refugee Camp, Killing at Least 6 People

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Israel has killed six Palestinians after targeting the Safatawi cafeteria near the entrance to Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. Dozens were also wounded. Horrific scenes showed bodies scattered on cafeteria tables, highlighting the growing toll of Israeli attacks.

Across the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces killed at least 53 Palestinians in multiple strikes throughout Sunday. Many of the victims were women and children.

In southern Gaza, Israeli warships killed a fisherman off the coast of Khan Younis. Drone strikes killed displaced civilians sheltering in tents in the Mawasi area. A 17-year-old boy was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Khuza’a. Several others succumbed to injuries from earlier attacks in Khan Younis.

Also, an Israeli airstrike on a tent sheltering displaced families near Hamad City in Khan Younis killed eight people, including three children and one woman. Another strike on a family home in southern Khan Younis killed six more people, including four children.

In central Gaza, 18 people were killed. Israeli forces bombed an apartment belonging to Al-Maqadama family in Al-Bureij camp. Four more civilians were killed when a drone strike hit a market stall near a Mall in Deir al-Balah. Five people, including four children, were also killed in the Algerian refugee camp in Deir al-Balah.

The Safatawi cafeteria strike near the entrances of Al-Nuseirat and Al-Bureij camps added six more deaths to the day’s bloody toll.

In Gaza City, Israeli forces killed 15 more Palestinians. Airstrikes targeted civilians gathering in Al-Zaytoun and in Al-Tuffah neighborhoods. Among the victims were several children, many killed together with members of their families.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has carried out a devastating genocide in Gaza. More than 50,000 people have been killed, the majority women and children.

Despite an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and despite a ruling by the International Court of Justice ordering Israel to stop acts of genocide, Israeli forces continue their attacks on Gaza without restraint.
