Israel Bombards 26 Community Kitchens and 37 Aid Centers in Gaza Since Genocide Began

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Israeli forces have bombed 26 tekiyyes (community kitchens) and 37 aid centers in Gaza since the start of the genocide, according to a statement by the Government Media Office. These facilities provided food and essential supplies to displaced and starving civilians.

The attacks are part of a systematic starvation campaign against over 2.4 million Palestinians trapped in the besieged enclave.

For nearly a month, Israel has enforced a full blockade, shutting down border crossings and preventing humanitarian aid, including vital fuel shipments. The office added that since March, 16,800 aid trucks and 1,400 fuel trucks were scheduled to enter Gaza, but Israel has blocked them all.

Israel also prevents the entry of 200,000 tents and 60,000 caravans meant for 280,000 displaced families. Heavy machinery needed to clear rubble and recover the bodies of over 11,000 victims remains banned. The siege has created an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.

The office called the international community, the UN and rights groups to urgently intervene and put pressure on Israel to end its “unjust siege” on Gaza.

On Wednesday, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) reported that Israel has blocked most humanitarian efforts to deliver essential aid to Gaza.

Israel resumed the genocide on Gaza on March 18, killing nearly 900 people, injuring around 2,000, and collapsing a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that had been in place since January.

Since October 2023, Israel’s genocide in Gaza has killed more than 50,200 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured over 114,000.

In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel is also facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in the enclave.
