‘Israel’ arrested 1282 Palestinians in 3 months only

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli occupation authorities arrested 1282 Palestinians during the period of July-September 2021, including 160 child and 37 female.
In a report released on Sunday by Palestinian prisoners groups, inclduding Addameer, Palestine Prisoners’ Society and the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and ex-Detainees’ Affairs, the groups said that ‘Israel’ arrested 1282 Palestinians during the period of July-September 2021 and issued 310 administrative orders.
Among the arrested are 160 child, all above the age of 18 and most of them from Jerusalem, and 37 female.
In June only, 615 Palestinians, including 92 minors and 24 women, were detained by Israeli occupation, while 100 administrative detention orders were issued.
In 2020 only, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 4,634 Palestinians, among them 543 children and 128 women, in addition to issuing 1,114 administrative detention orders.
By the end of March 2021, the number of Palestinian prisoners and detainees reached 4,450, including 37 women, 140 children, and 440 administrative detainees.
By the end pf May 2021, the number of Palestinian prisoners and detainees in Israeli jails reached 4,277 Palestinians, including 435 administrative detainees.
In July, ‘Israel’ arrested 513 Palestinians, including 47 child and 17 female and issued 98 administrative orders.
In August, ‘Israel’ arrested 345 Palestinians, including 46 child and 8 female and issued 91 administrative orders.
In September, ‘Israel’ arrested 424 Palestinians, including 67 child and 12 female and issued 121 administrative orders.
During the three above-mentioned months, ‘Israel’ arrested 525 Palestinians from Jerusalem only, 80% of the arrested are children.
By the end of September, the number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails became 4600, among the prisoners are over 500 administrative detainees held without charge or trial, 200 child prisoners and 35 female prisoners.
The prisoners’ groups also said that over 40 Palestinian detainees started hunger strike since the start of 2021, in protest against Israel’s detention without a charge or trial.
