“Israel” approves new settlements in occupied Jerusalem

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Local Planning and Building Committee in occupied Jerusalem approved on Monday two plans for new settlements in the holy city.
Israel’s Channel 7 said that a new settlement bloc, which contains 706 units, will be built for Jewish settlers.
Another plan implies demolition of a building in street NO. 5 in Nabi Yaqoub illegal settlement and building four new buildings instead. The new buildings will be 13, 14, and 15 stories and will contain 235 units, the Israeli channel added.
The Israeli accelerated construction of new illegal settlements in the occupied Jerusalem and the occupied West Bank comes with concurrent trials to demolish as much as Israel can of the Palestinians’ houses and structures.
In the first three months of 2019, a total of 136 Palestinian structures were demolished in the West Bank, of which 48 were in East Jerusalem and 88 in Area C, displacing 218 people, including 97 children and 57 women.
