‘Israel’ apologizes to UAE following COVID-19 remarks

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli media reported on Sunday that the occupation state has apologized to the United Arab Emirates after the latter deplored a statement by the Israeli Minister of Health linking the increased COVID-19 cases in the occupation state with the mass visits to the UAE following the normalization deal.

An official at the Israeli Prime Minister’s office officially apologized to the UAE over the statement.

An official at the Israeli Ministry of Health had said that “In two weeks of peace [with the UAE] more people died than in 70 years of war.”

The Israeli Channel 13 had said that from the beginning of December, 906 Israelis who returned from the UAE were diagnosed with coronavirus, leading to a total of 4,050 cases, including many cases of the more infectious UK variant.
