Injuries in Israeli repression of student protest in Bireh

Ramallah (QNN)- Two Palestinian young men were wounded by Israeli bullets during confrontations that followed Israeli repression of a student protest in the city of Bireh on Saturday.

QNN reporter stated that Israeli soldiers repressed the protest, which headed from Birzeit University towards the northern military checkpoint at Bireh, to show solidarity with Gaza and protest against the Israeli aggression.

The soldiers heavily used tear gas and stun grenades against the protesters, causing dozens of suffocation cases.

The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that its teams treated three cases during the confrontations; one with live bullets in the leg, one with rubber-coated metal bullets in the head, and one with a tear gas canister.

It also stated that its teams treated dozens of protesters, who were suffocated by poisonous tear gas during the protest.

Witnesses state that the Israelis tried to arrest a wounded protester, however the paramedics succeeded to pull him.
