Sana’a (Quds News Network)- Yemen’s military has unveiled the specifications of its newest hypersonic missile, “Palestine 2,” after it successfully struck a military target in occupied Jaffa. This missile marks a significant enhancement in Yemen’s missile arsenal, offering cutting-edge features that challenge even the most advanced air defense systems.

The “Palestine 2” missile boasts an impressive range of 2,150 kilometers and is powered by solid fuel in a two-stage system. With a top speed of Mach 16, the missile has stealth capabilities and is specifically designed to evade Israel’s Iron Dome.

The missile also has high maneuverability, allowing it to bypass interception attempts. Yemen’s Ansar Allah (Houthis) leader Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi confirmed that the missile used in the Jaffa strike was a high-tech hypersonic projectile capable of penetrating Israel’s defenses, traveling 2,040 kilometers in just over 11 minutes.

Houthi military spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, emphasized the success of the operation, stating that the missile hit its target without being intercepted, a failure that the Israeli military is currently investigating. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that the Houthis would “pay a heavy price” for targeting Israel.
