Indiscriminate Israeli bombardments claim more lives in Gaza

Gaza (Quds News Network) – As Israeli genocide campaign persists for the fifth month in the Gaza Strip, at least 11 Palestinians were killed over the last hours in a series of attacks, according to local and medical sources.

In Rafah, located in the southern part of the Strip, a devastating Israeli airstrike targeted a house in the Nassr neighborhood east of the city. The strike resulted in the murder of at least 11 civilians, with several others sustaining injuries. The homes of the Zaarab and Joudeh families were reportedly targeted by Israeli occupation forces.

Earlier in the night, Israeli attacks on the homes of the Sabbah and Afana families in the Al-Sikka Street area, east of Jabalia in northern Gaza, claimed the lives of at least two people and left several others wounded.

Civil defense and ambulance teams conducted search and rescue efforts to retrieve bodies and locate potential survivors from the rubble of the two houses.

Israeli warplanes also targeted the Tel Al-Zaatar area in the northern Gaza Strip, coinciding with artillery shelling by Israeli occupation forces in the village of Maghraqa in central Gaza and around the University College south of the Al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City.

In Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, Israeli forces compelled the administration of Nasser Medical Complex to relocate 95 healthcare workers, 11 family members, 191 patients, and 165 accompanying individuals to the old Nasser Building under harsh and frightening conditions.

The complex is facing critical shortages of medical resources, and fuel is expected to run out within the next 24 hours, posing a severe threat to the lives of patients, including those in intensive care and the nursery.

The ongoing Israeli aggression, which began on October 7, 2023, has resulted in a devastating toll on the Gaza Strip. The confirmed fatalities have surpassed 28,663, including over 12,000 children, with over 68,395 people reported injured. The region continues to face a dire humanitarian crisis amid the relentless Israeli attacks.
