The family, residing at Al Am’ari refugee camp, received an Israeli telephonic statement by the Israeli army informing them that their house will be demolished early next week.

Latifah Abu Hmeid “Um Naser” told WAFA that an Israeli officers called her and read a statement ordering to demolish her house, which was demolished last year and was rebuilt.

The elderly lady said that the officer asked her to present an objection at the Israeli court, however she said that she will not present for an objection before a moot court.

She also said that her house is still under construction after last year’s demolition. This demolition comes claiming that the house was built on confiscated land and that Israeli authorities prevent construction of demolished houses before five years of demolition.

Um Naser, a mother of five prisoners sentenced to life times and a martyr, was assaulted recently by settlers while she was attending the trial of her son Islam. Islam Abu Hmeid is accused of killing an Israeli Duvdevan soldier last year, “throwing a marble slap at him”.
