Hebron (QNN)- On the first day of Ramadan, Israel flag was raised on the walls of the Ibrahimi mosque in the West Bank city of Hebron.
Residents considered the settlers’ act provocative, as it comes in the first day of Muslims’ holy month of Ramada as well as it was executed with support by Israeli occupation soldiers to improve their control over the mosque.
Israeli settlers use any occasion to raise their flag on the mosque, which was divided between Muslims and Jews after a mass shooting committed by an extremist settlers against Palestinian worshipers in the mosque in 1994.
