In Video| Israeli police assault activists who showed solidarity with patient prisoner

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli policemen on Monday assaulted activists, who gathered at Bnai Zion hospital to show solidarity with the Palestinian-Jordanian hunger-striker prisoner Hiba Al Labadi.

The activists, who gathered in front of the hospital, held pictures of Labadi and chanted slogans in solidarity with her. Other activists succeeded to get in the hospital but they were attacked and evicted by the Israeli police.

Labadi was sent to hospital on Monday due to a serous deterioration in her health condition. She has been on hunger strike for 36 days, protesting being subjected to torture during interrogation and protesting administrative detention.

Labadi is dual national (she holds both Jordanian and Palestinian citizenship). She was arrested without charges while she was attending a wedding in the occupied West Bank.

Three other Palestinian prisoners as well have been on hunger strike, protesting their administrative detention. Ismail Ali has been on hunger strike for 98 days, Ahmad Zahran has been on hunger strike for 38, and Mus’ab Hindi has been on hunger strike for 36 days.
