Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Hundreds of Palestinian women took part on Thursday in marches against gender-based violence throughout occupied Palestine. Israeli forces targeted one of the matches, dispersing protesters.

Marches took place in Haifa, Arrabeh, Ramallah, Rafah, Gaza, in addition to other Palestinian cities. Other marches were organized in Beirut and Berlin as well.

The marches, organized by “Tal’at” group, took to streets as a response to several violence and murder cases, which were carried out against Palestinian women under the pretext of protecting honor.

The latest case of Isra’a Ghrayyeb sparked anger among Palestinians, who demanded laws, which protect Palestinian women of violence and honor killing.

In the same vein, Israeli forces dispersed a march at the Damascus Gate in occupied Jerusalem, targeting female and male protesters, who were chanting for freedom.
