The Supreme National Authority for the Great Return march called on Palestinians to participate in Friday’s protests, which were under the title “Victory of Dignity”, for the sake of hundreds of martyrs killed in the march during the last year.
The weekly Great Return March protests, which started in March 30, 2018, have been taking place on the Gaza borders. Thousands of Palestinian refugees in Gaza participate in the protests demanding to end the siege, and also demanding their right to return to their homelands, which were occupied in 1948 by Zionist militias to create “Israel”.
The Israeli repression of the protests caused 270 Palestinians to be killed and about 30,000 others to be injured during last year, according to the Palestinian ministry of health.
