Leiden (Quds News Network)- Thousands of children’s shoes were displayed in Breestraat Square in Leiden, Netherlands, on Sunday, as a symbolic protest to draw attention to Israel’s devastating attacks on Gaza.
Participants, including families and activists, called for global action to address the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza and to demand justice for the lives lost in the Israeli genocide.
The event underscored a growing international outcry over the plight of Palestinian children, urging leaders and communities around the world to confront the ongoing tragedy in Gaza.
On March 18, Israel resumed its assault on Gaza and violated the ceasefire agreement, killing more than 1,500 people, one-third of them children. It has not allowed any aid to enter Gaza since March 2, adding to the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza.
