Nablus (QNN) – Extremist Jewish settlers earlier today partially destroyed three Palestinian vehicles after raiding the village of Asira al-Qiblia, south of Nablus in the West Bank, local sources said.

Hafez Saleh, head of Asira al-Qiblia village council, told official Wafa news agency that extremist settlers from the nearby illegal settlement of Yitzhar surreptitiously entered the village at about 5:00 am local time and destroyed the windshields of three vehciles, which belong to local Palestinian villagers.

He said the attack was carried out in the full sight of Israeli soldiers who were present at a nearby military outpost.

The settlement of Yitzhar is notorious for its hardcore Jewish settler community who in the past committed several attacks against Palestinians and their property, including arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Settler vandalism of Palestinian property in the occupied territories is almost a daily occurrence, and attacks by settlers are rarely prosecuted by Israeli occupation authorities.
