Ramallah (QNN)- After 18 years of separation, Ismail Abu Aisheh (45 years old) finally met his fiancee Ikram Abu Aisheh today.

The long years of waiting and longing became moments of happiness and joy after Ismail got his freedom.

The families of Ismail and Ikram made sure to follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Health, especially with the coronavirus crisis and the intentional negligence of the basic health standards in Israeli jails.

Abu Aisheh got his freedom today after 18 years in Israeli jails. Israeli forces arrested him from the village of Beit Wazan in Nablus on April 15, 2002.

During his arrest, the Israelis targeted him with different kinds of violations. He was a victim of the Israeli medical negligence and also the jailers prevented him from seeing his mother before she died in 2015.

Abu Aisheh will go in quarantine for 14 days as part of the measures that the Ministry of Health takes with former prisoners.
