Jenin (Quds News Network)- Israeli occupation forces continue their military operation in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin for the fifth day in a row, wreaking havoc in the city in what is described as the largest offensive in the occupied West Bank since the Second Intifada.
The Israeli offensive, which began early Wednesday, involved simultaneous air and ground attacks on Jenin, Tulkarm and Tubas in the northern West Bank. At least 24 Palestinians have been killed, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
By Friday evening, the Israeli military had withdrawn from Tulkarm and Tubas but remained in Jenin, which has now become the main focus of the assault.
Dozens of families have been forced out of their homes in raids conducted by Israeli forces in Jenin. Many residents were arrested from their homes and subjected to field interrogations and harsh treatment.
Israeli military bulldozers caused widespread destruction to the city’s roads and civilian infrastructure, with estimates confirming that around 70 percent of the city’s infrastructure has been destroyed. Internet and landline services were cut in the city. Electricity and water lines have also been damaged.

On Saturday, the Jenin Government Hospital suspended its daily dialysis services due to ongoing disruptions in essential supplies caused by the ongoing military siege.
