In Pictures: Israeli settlers rampage in West Bank Huwwara

Occupied West Bank (Quds News Network)- Masked Israeli settlers set fire to Palestinian-owned vehicles and lit bonfires in the occupied West Bank village of Huwwara on Tuesday night.

Local sources said that dozens of masked Israeli settlers from a nearby settlement stormed the Huwwara village and began rampaging late on Tuesday.

The Israeli forces reportedly intervened to remove the settlers but not before they had torched one vehicle and vandalized another.

The settlers also set olive trees on fire and threw stones at shops.

Two Palestinian youths were injured during the settlers’ attack on the village.

Huwara has been the scene of settler violence over the past year with Israel’s far-right Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich arousing controversy when he said that Huwara should be “wiped out” in February 2023.
