In Pictures| A quarter of a million worshipers perform Friday prayer at Al Aqsa

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Nearly a quarter of a million worshipers performed Friday prayer at Al Aqsa mosque on the last Friday of Ramadan, said the Palestinian Waqf.

Despite of Israeli restrictions in the old city of Jerusalem and the holy mosque, thousands of worshipers have flocked since the early morning hours to the the world’s third holiest place for Muslims.

Thousands of worshipers found themselves stuck on Israeli checkpoints while trying to reach the Al Aqsa mosque. Israeli soldiers banned men under the age of 40 from reaching the holy mosque.
