Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Ghadanfar Abu Atwan has entered a serious condition as he is starting the 53rd day of the hunger strike. Abu Atwan has been on a hunger strike in protest against his administrative detention.
The director of the Committee for Detainees and Former Detainees Affairs, Munqedth Abu Atwan, said Ghadanfar went into a coma. Furthermore, his health condition continues to deteriorate while he is in Kaplan hospital, according to Abu Atwan.

The Israeli supreme court had decided to suspend the administrative detention of Abu Atwan. The court’s decision depended on medical reports, proving that Abu Atwan’s life is in danger.
Administrative detention is incarceration without trial or charge, alleging that a person plans to commit a future offense. It has no time limit, and the evidence on which it is based is not disclosed.
However, ‘Israel’ employs this measure extensively and routinely, and has used it to hold thousands of Palestinians for lengthy periods of time.
