Hundreds of Palestinians attend Al-Fajr prayer at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque
Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Hundreds of Palestinian worshipers performed at Friday dawn the Al-Fajr prayer at the Al-Aqsa mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem, pledging to protect the holy site from Israeli occupation violations.
Local sources reported that large numbers of Palestinian worshipers attended the Al-Fajr prayer at the mosque with the intention of supporting the “Great Fajr” campaign to pray at the holy sites.
The worshipers also responded to calls raised to attend the Al-Fajr prayer on Friday in support of Palestinians killed in Nablus city by Israeli occupation forces; the last killings occurred last Tuesday when Israeli soldiers assassinated three youths, including Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi, during a deadly raid into Nablus’s Old City. The Fajr prayer was dubbed this time the “The Great Fajr of Martyrs.”
In the same context, thousands of Palestinian worshipers also performed the Fajr prayer in Nablus’s Al-Nasser Mosque with the intention of supporting “The Great Fajr of Martyrs.”

The Palestinians then gathered at the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa mosque, confirming their spiritual links to the holy site and rejected the Israeli systematic Judaization policy. Palestinian youths and elderly men also have their breakfast at the mosque’s courtyards.
Every Friday, thousands of Palestinians stream to the Al-Aqsa mosque, the world’s third-holiest site for Muslims. They recite the Holy Quran before performing the Al-Fajr prayer and later the Friday prayers.
