Hind Rajab Foundation Files ICC Complaint Against Israeli Brigadier General for Gaza War Crimes

The Hague (Quds News Network)- The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) has filed a criminal complaint to the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Israeli Brigadier General Yehuda Vahn, accusing him of war crimes in Gaza, including the killing of starving aid seekers near US-backed distribution sites.
HRF said Vach was in command of the “establishment and enforcement of an unlawful ‘kill zone’ in the Netzarim Corridor, a zone it said is characterised by ‘the deliberate targeting of civilians — particularly children — by sniper teams and mobile armoured patrols operating with impunity under Vach’s orders”.
“The complaint was based on powers of attorney obtained from the families of two Palestinian children who were summarily executed by Vach’s troops”, HRF said in a statement.
HRF said Vach is “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s most loyal and lethal asset in Gaza—the man entrusted to carry out the will of a government that has embraced openly genocidal policies against the Palestinian people.”
Vach is directly and indirectly responsible for a series of additional atrocities, including the demolition of the Turkish–Palestinian Friendship Hospital, the Tel Sultan massacre, and the systematic killing of civilians at humanitarian aid distribution points backed by the US and Israel.
According to the HRF, his brothers, Colonel Golan Vach and Captain Elishav Vach, are also deeply implicated in war crimes and abuses.
The three brothers form a militarized faction operating with political protection from Netanyahu’s office. Together, they have built what human rights observers now call Israel’s “first family of genocide.”
A recent investigation by Haaretz revealed that Israeli soldiers under Vach’s command received explicit orders to shoot starved Palestinians who approached so-called ‘aid distribution centers”, even if unarmed and non-threatening.
“It’s a killing field,” said one soldier. “They don’t shoot tear gas. They shoot everything—machine guns, grenades, mortars.”
The soldier described a daily routine of killing, where dozens of starved Palestinians are being gunned down each day.
The operation was cynically nicknamed “Salty Fish”, a cruel adaptation of the children’s game “Green Light, Red Light.” Soldiers would fire when people approached and stop when they backed away.
The Gaza Government Media Office and rights organizations have long accused Vach of orchestrating policies of starvation, forced displacement, and mass slaughter. Vach has now become a symbol of Israel’s war machine in Gaza.
The Hind Rajab Foundation is a Belgium-based pro-Palestine group which leads a legal push against Israeli soldiers’ war crimes in Gaza.
