Hezbollah’s Deputy Leader Declares ‘New Equation’ in Hezbollah’s Fight Against Israel

Beirut (Quds News Network)- In a recent televised address, Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary-General, Naim Qassem, declared that the Lebanese resistance group has fully recovered from recent blows and is now operating under a “new equation” aimed at intensifying its strikes against the occupation state of Israel. This new approach, Qassem emphasized, is designed to continuously “pain the enemy” and will remain in effect as the conflict escalates.

Qassem stressed that Hezbollah, despite suffering significant losses, has regained its military strength and strategic capabilities. Over the past two weeks, Hezbollah’s rocket attacks have reached Tel Aviv, disrupted operations at Ben Gurion Airport, and forced two million Israelis into shelters. According to Qassem, the group now possesses the ability to target any location in Israel, and it will choose the appropriate moments for future strikes.

‘The Resistance Surpassed Expectations’

Qassem noted that the achievements of the resistance on the battlefield have exceeded its expectations, highlighting Hezbollah’s ability to adapt and respond effectively to Israeli actions. He emphasized that the group’s main mission remains to pursue Israeli forces wherever they enter and to carry out operations against them.

In a message directed at Israeli settlers, Qassem urged them not to trust their government’s official statements, calling attention to the high number of Israeli casualties in the ongoing conflict. He reiterated that the only solution to end the war is a ceasefire.

Although Hezbollah has called for a ceasefire in Gaza to halt Israeli assaults, Qassem clarified that this is not a sign of weakness. If Israel refuses, Hezbollah is prepared to continue its operations. He warned that prolonged conflict would lead to more Israeli settlements in the north becoming deserted, with millions of settlers living under constant threat.

Addressing the broader regional context, Qassem reiterated Hezbollah’s support for the Palestinian people, confirming that they have a legitimate right to resist their occupier. He linked Hezbollah’s struggle to a wider resistance against an Israeli-American expansionist agenda in the Middle East. According to Qassem, Lebanon and the entire region are part of Israel’s long-term goals for dominance, but Hezbollah’s resistance limits this expansion. “We are the ones who will take hold of the reins of the raging beast (the Zionist entity) and return it to its pen,” he said.

A Message to Lebanese People

In his concluding remarks, Qassem called on the Lebanese people to remain united behind Hezbollah, assuring them that the group will remain steadfast despite external and internal challenges. He promised that Lebanon’s destroyed homes would be rebuilt and vowed that Hezbollah will continue to fight alongside the people.

Qassem’s address came at a crucial time, as the region faces increased Israeli attacks, with Hezbollah warning that it will continue its operations unless Israeli actions cease.

Qassem also reflected on the significance of the recent “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, stating that it as a legitimate act of resistance that shook the Israeli occupation after 75 years. He reaffirmed Hezbollah’s commitment to the Palestinian cause and its determination to prevent further Israeli expansion in the region.

In his remarks, Qassem stressed that Western powers, including the United States, Britain, and France, are complicit in Israeli crimes. He argued that Israel’s actions, supported by these countries, are aimed at reshaping the Middle East according to their interests. However, Hezbollah, according to Qassem, remains committed to resisting this plan and protecting Lebanon’s sovereignty. “The Zionist entity seeks to impose a new Middle East on the region,” he stated.
