Hezbollah downs Israeli drone in southern Lebanon

Southern Lebanon (QNN)- Hezbollah Lebanese movement announced that it has downed an Israeli drone after violating Lebanon’s airspace on Monday. Hezbollah fighters have seized the drone after shooting it down.

In a brief statement, Hezbollah said “the fighters of the Islamic resistance confronted an Israeli drone, using suitable weapons, while it was passing through the Palestinian borders towards Ramya village in the South. The drone was downed in Kharaj El Baldeh and became in the hands of the resistance fighters on Monday September 9th, 2019”.

This event took place after Hezbollah leader, Hasan Nasrallah, threatened to target drones, which violate Lebanon’s airspace, after an Israeli attack, which targeted the information centre with two drones.

One week ago, Hezbollah declared that it targeted an Israeli military Jeep near Avivim settlement at the northern borders of occupied Palestine in response to the Israeli assaults.
