Hamas warns against implementing scheme of animal slaughtering at Al-Aqsa
Occupied Palestine (QNN) – The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has issued a warning to leaders of the occupation state against implementing the scheme of animal slaughtering at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a statement on Wednesday, Hamas held the occupation state fully responsible for all the repercussions of this dangerous escalation which crosses all red lines, stressing that it’s a direct assault on the beliefs and feelings of the Islamic Ummah during this holy month.
“At this historic moment and in these blessed days, we call on our Palestinian people to be an impenetrable shield in defending Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy sanctities, and deter the extremist groups and restrain them with all possible means,” Hamas said.
It also called on the Arab and Islamic countries to assume their historical responsibility of protecting Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque and support the Palestinian people in confronting the occupation’s terrorism and act urgently to prevent this serious desecration of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa that provokes the feelings of all Muslims.
In addition, the movement called on international bodies and organizations to take all steps to prevent this danger that could lead to setting the entire region ablaze.
These statements come as the so-called Jewish ‘Temple Mount’ groups call for organizing mass breakings into Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Jewish Passover holiday in mid-April to offer animal sacrifices in its courtyards.
The mass Israeli breakings into the al-Aqsa Mosque will be held on April 15 and continue until April 22, which coincides with the third week of the holy month of Ramadan.
