Hamas Spokesperson to Quds News Network Rejects Trump’s Statements, Affirms Palestinians’ Right to Return to Gaza

Gaza (Quds News Network)- In an exclusive statement to Quds News Network, Jihad Taha, spokesperson for Hamas, strongly rejected recent remarks by US President Donald Trump. Taha emphasized that the US administration should pressure Israel to adhere to the recent agreement regarding Gaza.

Taha highlighted the gathering of Palestinians near the Netzarim axis in Gaza, preparing to return to the northern part of the Strip. He stated that this demonstrates their unwavering commitment to their land. He also affirmed that all US and Israeli plans aimed at displacing Palestinians will fail, just as previous attempts, like the proposal to relocate Palestinians to Sinai at the start of the genocide, have failed.

The Hamas leadership continues to communicate with regional allies, including Egypt and Jordan, to solidify the Palestinian position against displacement plans. Taha stressed that these efforts aim to protect Palestinian rights and reject any schemes that undermine their cause.

Taha reiterated that the Palestinian people are capable of rebuilding what the occupation has destroyed in Gaza, as they did after the conflicts of 2009, 2012, and 2014. He firmly stated that displacement is not a solution and must not be considered an option.

Hamas has urged mediators to pressure Israel to fulfill its obligations and open the Netzarim axis to facilitate the return of Palestinians to their homes. Taha expressed hope that the issue would be resolved in the coming hours, emphasizing ongoing efforts to achieve this goal.
