Hamas slams UAE for importing Israeli settlement products

Gaza (QNN)- Palestinian group Hamas on Sunday slammed the United Arab Emirates for importing products from illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.
Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said in a statement that this move “is tantamount to encouraging Zionist settlement building on the occupied Palestinian lands.”
The spokesman added that the UAE-Israel trade deal “gives a push to the displacement policy practiced by the Zionist right wing.”
The first commercial shipment of goods from Israeli settlements products to the UAE began on Sunday, Israeli channel 7 reported.
However, there was no immediate comment from Emirati authorities on the report.
The UAE and ‘Israel’ normalized their relations in September in a move that was followed by Bahrain, Sudan and recently Morocco.
Palestinians condemned the normalization agreements, saying they encouraged Israel’s denial of their rights and do not serve the Palestinian cause.
