Hamas Releases Video of Israeli Prisoner Who Survived Two Israeli Attacks

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas resistance movement, has released a video featuring an Israeli prisoner who have survived two Israeli bombings since Israel violated the ceasefire agreement nearly two months ago. The prisoner identified himself as number 24 and appeared visibly injured, with severe wounds to his face and left arm.
In the video, he recounted his harrowing experiences, stating that he was bombed after Israel resumed attacks and narrowly escaped death. This prompted Al-Qassam to place him inside one of their tunnels for safety. He described enduring another bombing while underground, again managing to survive.
The prisoner expressed that the military pressure, which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claims will lead to the return of Israeli prisoners, has placed him in a dire situation. He reported a lack of medical supplies and stated that he cannot be taken to a hospital.
He also mentioned that he has no information about his companion who was with him during the bombing. He remarked that the war would have ended immediately if Netanyahu’s son or any of his ministers were imprisoned in Gaza.
While Al-Qassam fighters attempted to rescue him from the tunnel, the prisoner spoke about a comrade named Bar, pleading for them to search for and save him.
He addressed the Israeli public, stating, “Everyone is against us, the government and its leader. We are not on their radar. No one cares where we are or what happens to us, and you see it for yourselves.” He pleaded, “Please help us. I beg you, don’t stay in your homes. Don’t let the government normalize this situation.”
The prisoner emphasized that their release could happen with the public’s help, stating, “Without you, there is no hope.” He added that Netanyahu would likely dismiss this as psychological warfare, but he insisted that the real psychological battle lies within him.
He concluded by suggesting that this video might be the last his family sees of him, potentially the only memory left for his parents and children. Al-Qassam ended the video with a message stating, “They will only be released through a deal. Time is running out.”
This release comes as the Israeli security cabinet prepares to approve a decision to expand assaults in Gaza, despite growing opposition within Israel. Netanyahu reaffirmed that winning in the war is more important that the lives of Israeli prisoners.
