Guarded by Israeli forces, over 1044 colonial settlers break into Jeruslaem’s Al-Aqsa
Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Over 1044 colonial Israeli settlers guarded by well-armed Israeli forces broke into Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday morning.
Ahead of the far-right “Flag March” which is due to take place in the Old City at 4:00 p.m, over 1044 colonial settlers, including MK Itamar Ben-Gvir, broke into the holy site compound from the early morning hours till 11:00 am.
They entered through the Mughrabi Gate, one of the Gates of the Old City of Jerusalem and is under full-Israeli control. The settlers performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards and provocative dances.

Local sources reported that dozens of Palestinian worshipers confronted the settlers as they held a vigil at night inside the holy site in an attempt to protect the mosque and confront the Israeli raids.
Earlier today, dozens of well-armed Israeli occupation forces raided the mosque to make a way for settlers to break into the holy site.
The occupation forces attacked the Palestinian worshipers inside the holy site and blockaded them inside the prayer halls to empty the courtyards of its worshipers to secure the settlers’ entry.

The provocative storm of the holy site came only a few hours before the “Flag March,” an annual rally planned by Israeli far-right settlers as part of celebrations to commemorate the so-called “reunification” of the city under Israeli rule.
The march typically brings together thousands of young, far-right Israelis, who chant anti-Palestinian slogans and wave Israeli flags as they pass through the small streets of East Jerusalem’s Old City.
Last year’s parade took place amid heightened tensions in the city, paving the way for ‘Israel’ to launch a devastating military attack on the Gaza Strip, codenamed Guardian of the Walls.
The May 2021 assault left 256 Palestinians dead and thousands injured, as well as damaging over 50,000 homes and destroying key infrastructure.
