Global Quds Day Rallies in Mumbai, Tehran, and Sana’a Demand Justice for Palestine

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Massive Quds Day rallies took place in Mumbai, Tehran, and Sana’a, with thousands protesting Israel’s occupation of Palestine and Jerusalem. The annual event, initiated by Imam Khomeini, reaffirmed global solidarity with Palestinians.

Mumbai: Unity in the Streets for Palestine

In Andheri West, Mumbai, hundreds gathered despite the heat, marching with banners and chanting slogans against Israel. People from diverse backgrounds, including children and the elderly, expressed deep emotional and spiritual support for Palestine.

Anjuman E Khadim E Hussain (AS) Trust – Zaib Palace organized the rally, urging international law enforcement and Palestinian self-determination. “Our unity transcends borders; justice for Palestine is a moral imperative,” the organizers declared.

Speakers condemned Israel’s illegal settlements and ongoing displacement of Palestinians. The event also called for immediate humanitarian aid to Gaza, highlighting the ongoing crisis.

Tehran: Iran’s Leadership Calls for Resistance

In Tehran, massive crowds marched under the slogan “On the Covenant, O Quds.” Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei described this year’s Quds Day as especially significant, countering Western narratives that attempt to portray Iran as weak.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, along with top government and military officials, joined the demonstrations. A televised speech from Khamenei urged global resistance against Israel and its Western allies, emphasizing that the Palestinian cause remains central to the Muslim world.

A statement read during the rally, by the daughter of late President Ebrahim Raisi, called for the prosecution of Israeli leaders, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in international courts.

Sana’a: Millions Rally in Support of Palestine

In Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, a massive crowd filled the streets for Quds Day, renewing the nation’s strong commitment to Palestine. Protesters waved Yemeni and Palestinian flags, chanting slogans against Israel and the United States.

International speakers, including South African MP Zwelivelile Mandela and Irish politician Mick Wallace, joined the rally. Mandela emphasized global unity for Palestinian liberation, while Wallace criticized Western governments for backing Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

A speech from the late Abu Hamza, a spokesperson for Palestinian resistance group Saraya Al-Quds, was broadcasted, calling for continued resistance and warning against normalization with Israel.
