Germany Boycotts Israel’s Antisemitism Conference Over Neo-Nazi Invitees

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Germany is boycotting Israel’s “International Conference on Combating Antisemitism” after learning that far-right and neo-Nazi figures were invited, reported Haaretz.
Felix Klein, Germany’s Commissioner for Jewish Life and the Fight Against Antisemitism German zionist groups, announced he will not attend. His office stated he was unaware of the guest list when he accepted the invitation. Upon discovering the far-right invitees, he withdrew.
The March conference in the occupied Palestinian capital city of Jerusalem, organized by Israel’s Diaspora Affairs Ministry, includes leaders from neo-nazi and extreme-right parties in Europe, such as:
* Jordan Bardella, leader of France’s National Rally
* Marion Maréchal, granddaughter of National Front founder Jean-Marie Le Pen
* Hermann Tertsch, from Spain’s Vox party
* Charlie Weimers, of Sweden’s far-right Sweden Democrats
* Kinga Gál, of Hungary’s Fidesz party
Many of these parties have long histories of anti-Jewish rhetoric and neo-Nazi ties.
Several Jewish leaders and Israeli officials will attend the event, including:
* UK Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis
* Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti-Defamation League
* William Daroff, CEO of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations
* Lord John Mann, the UK’s Independent Advisor on Antisemitism
* French writer Bernard-Henri Lévy
Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will also participate, alongside Argentinian President Javier Milei and Milorad Dodik, leader of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska, who faces an arrest warrant for attacking Bosnia’s constitutional order.
