Gaza: Over 260 Palestinians Killed in Israeli Attacks Since Start of New Year
Gaza (Quds News Network)- Over 260 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza in the first five days of the new year, as the military continues to target residential buildings, as well as people gathered in streets, marketplaces, and shelters.
According to the latest death toll updates from Gaza’s Health Ministry, more than 260 people have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza in the first five days of 2025, as Israel continues its ongoing assault for the 457th consecutive day.
The Israeli military claimed it hit more than 100 Hamas sites as it intensified its operations across the enclave.
However, local and medical sources reported that women and children, including babies, made up the vast majority of the casualties, with many people still missing and feared trapped under the rubble.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, the death toll among Palestinians from Israel’s genocide on Gaza has soared to nearly 46,000. That is almost 2.2 percent of its population.
