Gaza: Israel targets tented camp at Gaza hospital, killing at least 4, injuring over 40

Gaza (Quds News Network)- At least four Palestinians were killed and over 40 others injured, many critically, following an Israeli attack on tents sheltering displaced people inside the grounds of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, late last night.

Footage from the scene shows a raging fire tearing through tents, with the bodies of other victims being engulfed in the flames.

Local sources reported about 20 to 30 tents were completely destroyed, and burned down. These tents are close to each other, back-to-back and set up in a small space inside the hospital courtyard.

The Israeli military claimed, without providing evidence, that it struck “terrorists who were working in a command and control complex that was established in an area previously known as the al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.”

According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, this is the seventh time the Israeli military has targeted tents inside the hospital courtyard, the last attack occurred on September 27.
