Gaza Death Toll Exceeds 50,600 as Israeli Bombardment Intensifies

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Israel’s relentless bombardment of Gaza has killed 86 Palestinians and wounded 287 in the past 24 hours, as airstrikes continue to devastate the enclave.
Since March 18, Israeli attacks have claimed 1,249 lives and left 3,022 injured. The overall death toll from Israel’s war on Gaza has now surged to 50,609, with 115,063 wounded since 7 October 2023.
The death toll is expected to rise as many remain trapped under the rubble. The majority of the victims are women and children.
At least 25 civilians were killed in a deadly Israeli airstrike that targeted the al-Aqqad family home in the Al-Manara neighborhood of Khan Younis city in southern Gaza in the early hours of Friday morning.
Israel also killed at least 112 Palestinians in Gaza on Thursday in what has become the deadliest day since Israel resumed its war on the Strip.
On March 18, Israel renewed its assault on the Gaza Strip and launched a new ground invasion across the enclave, marking the collapse of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal that had been in place since January 19, 2025. The first phase ended on March 1, 2025, but Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused to proceed with the second phase.
Netanyahu, wanted by the International Criminal Court, sought to free more Israeli prisoners without fulfilling Israel’s commitments, including ending the war and withdrawing from Gaza. Hamas insisted on implementing the full agreement.
