French Jurists Appeal to Judge to Stop Military Cargo to Israel Amid Gaza Genocide
Paris (Quds News Network)- Jurists for the Respect of International Law (JURDI) have appealed to an administrative judge to suspend the delivery of military cargo to to Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest privately-owned arms manufacturer, amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
The group of French lawyers and jurists said it “filed an urgent request with the Administrative Court of Montreuil, France” to suspend the military cargo in transit through France’s Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport to Elbit Systems in Israel from Swedish company Swebor Stal Svenska AB.
“Elbit Systems, the main arms supplier to the Israeli army, plays a central role in the current war effort, including in the Gaza Strip,” the group said in a statement shared on X.
JURDI said it wanted to alert French authorities to “possible complicity” in international crimes, which it said were “incompatible with the values of the French people”.
“Authorising the uncontrolled transit of armoured vehicles destined for Elbit Systems would be equivalent to facilitating, from French territory, the commission of international crimes already denounced by the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.”

US Attorney General Pam Bondi says the Justice Department will seek the death penalty for Elias Rodriguez after an incident against former Israeli soldiers at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, a move she announced at a Florida Zionist conference while framing the case within a broader crackdown on alleged ‘antisemitism’ .
Hamas says it has handed mediators all available information on the location of the last Israeli soldier prisoner’s body in Gaza in an Israeli-controlled area, as Israel continues to violate Trump’s ceasefire.
Israel has violated the ceasefire more than 1200 times since it took effect in October, restricting the entry of desperately needed aid, including fuel, medicine, tents, and shelter materials, and killing hundreds of civilians.
