France elections winners promise to recognize Palestine
Paris (Quds News Network)- President of the Parliamentary Bloc of France Insoumise, Mathilde Panot said the bloc will recognize the State of Palestine within the next two weeks. Jean-Luc Mélenchon, leader of the France Insoumise party, also stated that “We must recognize the state of Palestine as it is one of the available means for us to exert pressure.”
The statement was made following the surprising results of the exit polls, which projected that the left-wing National Popular Front (NFP) will be the biggest party in parliament, with the far-right National Rally (RN) – which came out on top in the first round – down in third place.
