Former Israeli Prisoner Raped by Famous Israeli Fitness Trainer
Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- A former female Israeli prisoner who was released from Gaza in a prisoner exchange has reportedly been raped by a well-known Israeli fitness trainer in Tel Aviv.
According to Israeli media, the trainer drugged the victim’s drink and assaulted her just three days before her wedding. The attack took place recently and has caused widespread outrage.
Israeli Telegram channels initially reported that the victim is Mia Shem, who was held prisoner in Gaza before being freed. Channels such as Rakemet, which has over 42,000 subscribers, shared her name but later removed it. Israeli journalist Amiram first broke the story but did not reveal any names. Shem has not publicly addressed the allegations.
Israeli media reported last week that Shem broke up with her fiance.
Previously, Shem had falsely accused the Palestinian resistance of mistreating her during imprisonment, claiming she felt “raped with their looks” despite admitting that no physical harm came to her. Now, Israeli reports suggest that her real assault happened not in Gaza, but in Tel Aviv—at the hands of one of her own.
Last week, Shem appeared on the One Day at a Time podcast, stating that she requested a pregnancy test, fearing “something had happened” to her while in Gaza, but the test came back negative. “I started to think that that terrorist did something to me, and I had to neutralize these thoughts. I said to myself, ‘Go back to Israel and get tested’, she claimed.
