For the first time, Israel admits loss of multiple tanks in Gaza

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported on Monday that the Israeli army has, for the first time since the beginning of the genocide in the Gaza Strip, acknowledged losing several tanks due to damage sustained during the battles.
According to Yedioth Ahronoth, the shortage of tanks and the lack of trainers—many of whom have been injured or killed in the war— has forced the army to postpone a trial program aimed at integrating female soldiers into armored units.
Israeli Haaretz also reported that the army announced a shortage of tanks, attributing it to the high number of operations by Palestinian resistance forces.
The current number of tanks in the Israeli army is insufficient to meet the demands of the ongoing military efforts.
Israeli tanks and vehicles face daily attacks from Palestinian resistance in various combat zones within the Gaza Strip.
In February, Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said it has destroyed over 1,100 Israeli military vehicles since the beginning of the genocidal war on Gaza on October 7th of last year.
The Al-Qassam Brigades specified that the destroyed vehicles included 962 tanks, 55 armored personnel carriers, 74 bulldozers, 3 excavators, and 14 military vehicles.
