For fifth consecutive day, Israeli forces raid al-Aqsa Mosque, attack worshipers in its courtyards
Occupied Palestine (QNN) - Israeli occupation forces on Thursday broke into al-Aqsa Mosque Compound, attacked the worshipers and forced them out of the compound, so as to make room for the settlers’ stormings into the compound.
Local sources reported that a large numbers of heavily armed Israeli occupation forces stormed the courtyards of al-Aqsa Mosque and fired tear gas canisters and rubber bullets towards the worshipers.
The forces besieged the worshipers inside the Qibli prayer hall and fired tear gas and rubber bullets towards them. There were many suffocation cases.
In addition, the Israeli forces attacked the women in the mosque and besieged them inside the Dome of the Rock.
The sources reported that the Israeli forces evicted the worshipers from the mosque and banned the journalists from covering the incidents.
Moreover, the Israeli forces provided cover for the settlers’ stormings into the courtyards of the mosque, after quelling the worshipers, one youth was reported detained.
