Following resistance warning… Israeli officials warn of allowing settlers ‘Flag march’
Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli military officials warned of allowing the settlers’ so-called ‘Flag March’, which is destined to be next Thursday, after the head of Hamas in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, sent threatening messages to the occupation state yesterday.
Israeli media also cited a source in the Israeli army as saying that “such march could re-ignite confrontations in East Jerusalem’s neighborhoods and cause violence in the West Bank and Gaza”.
Israeli Walla news website revealed that Israeli police, Shin Bet, IOF officials, and former ministers of war will take part in a meeting today to evaluate the situation regarding the settlers’ march.
It added that the Israeli army is taking Hamas’ warning seriously, which pushed it to order to activate the Iron Dome during the next days.
Sinar had said that any further confrontation with the occupation state would “change the Middle East”.
Brrages of missiles fired by the resistance in Gaza had forced settlers to cancel their march on the 28th night of Ramadan. The march is an annual Israeli actively, celebrating the occupation and annexation of the eastern part of Jerusalem.
