Florida Senator Launches Anti-Muslim Tirade Targeting Palestinians in Apparent Engagement Farming Attempt

Florida (Quds News Network)- Florida State Senator Randy Fine is facing fierce backlash after posting a string of anti-Muslim and anti-Palestinian remarks online. The Republican lawmaker appeared to use hate speech and provocation in an apparent effort to boost engagement on social media.

The controversy began after Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, a Muslim Palestinian-American, criticized Israel’s ongoing siege and starvation war on Gaza.

Tlaib posted: “The government of Israel is starving Gaza to death. It’s a war crime to use starvation as a weapon. The only way to end this genocide is with an arms embargo. Time for my colleagues to end their silence.”

Fine responded with a series of inflammatory posts.
Tell your fellow Muslim terrorists to release the hostages and surrender. Until then, #StarveAway,” he wrote.
Then added: “Hey Muslim terrorists, cry harder. #StarveAway.”
And later: “I love blocking Muslim terrorists. They clearly aren’t too hungry. #KeepOnStarving.”

Critics say Fine’s remarks weren’t just hateful. They were carefully crafted to provoke anger and maximize views — a classic example of engagement farming. His previous posts have received little attention online. These, however, quickly gained traction.

This isn’t the first time Fine has targeted Muslim officials. In a previous post, he threatened Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar.
“The Hebrew Hammer is coming,” Fine wrote. “[Tlaib] and [Omar] might consider leaving before I get there.” He ended the post with the hashtag #BombsAway.

Fine has also accused former President Joe Biden of hiring “Muslim terrorists” in the White House. He used the slur “Jihad Joe” after Biden appointed Maher Bitar, a Palestinian-American, to an intelligence position.

Also last year, when Israeli forces killed a Turkish-American activist in the West Bank, Fine celebrated the death.
“Throw rocks, get shot. One less Muslim terrorist. Fire Away,” he wrote.

Fine’s rhetoric comes amid a catastrophic humanitarian crisis in Gaza. For over two months, Israel has enforced a total blockade, cutting off food, medicine, water, and fuel.

More than 57 people — mostly children — have died from starvation in Gaza. Over 53,000 Palestinians have been killed since the genocide was launched 18 months ago. Most are women and children.

Israel claims that it aims to pressure Hamas to release Israeli prisoners. But last week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said military victory matters more than saving the Israeli prisoners alive.

The resistance has repeatedly stated that Israel of attacks suspected Israeli prisoners locations, possibly to eliminate the file altogether.
