Factions condemn UK decision deeming Hamas terrorist

Gaza (QNN)- Palestinian factions on Saturday condemned a decision by the UK interior minister Priti Patel outlawing Hamas resistance movement. The factions described the decision as “alienation of the Palestinian people and denial of its legitimate right to fight until the liberation of occupation.”

Following a meeting in Gaza today, the factions said “the Palestinian people, with all of its factions and institutions, is united, rejecting and condemning the decision, and deeming it as a green light for the occupation state to continue its assaults and crimes, which is something that the UK government should be responsible for.”

“Hamas is an inherent part of the Palestinian fabric and the national liberation movement and our people will never allow any side to compromise any of its components”, a statement by the factions read.

“The UK should take into consideration that most of the British people stand against the occupation and its crimes. Thus, the UK should reverse the decision and replace it with atonement steps for its historical mistake, represented by the Balfour declaration, before it is too late.”

The statement also called on all activists around the globe and the United Nations to stand firmly against the decision. It announced as well a series of activities to confront the decision.
