Exclusive| Hamas rejected direct meeting with Trump administration

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Sources at Hamas told QNN that the movement rejected a direct meeting with a delegation from Trump’s administration.

The sources stated that “this is the first time for the US to officially ask for a direct meeting with the movement in order to offer billions of dollars that will be allocated for the reconstruction of Gaza and constructing a harbor and an airport in the strip.”

The source also confirmed that “Hamas rejected the meeting as well as the proposal based on its rejection to Trump’s plan”, stressing that “the meeting aims at neutralizing Gaza and increasing the gap between the Palestinians.”

He added that other American efforts to offer international aid and investments in Gaza had been made through mediators but the movement rejected them.

The US administration had listed Hamas as a terrorist organization and this is the first time for an American administration to ask for a direct meeting with the movement.
