Elderly Palestinian man killed by Israeli forces in occupied West Bank
Occupied West Bank (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces shot and killed an elderly Palestinian man during a military raid on the northern occupied West Bank city of Tubas on Friday.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that 58-year-old Salah Tawfiq Sawafta succumbed to his serious wounds that he sustained after being shot in the head earlier on Friday by Israeli gunfire.
Local sources reported that the old man was returning home from dawn prayers at the mosque near his home when he was shot.
Video footage also shows Sawafta unarmed and attempting to enter a store before being shot.

Another an unidentified Palestinian man sustained wounds to his leg from live ammunition.
Recently, Sawafta had reportedly sent out invitations to his daughter’s wedding which is supposed to take place next week.

Since the start of 2022, ‘Israel’ has killed 134 Palestinians in the occupied territories, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry, including 49 Palestinians killed in the recent three-day bombardment on the Gaza Strip, among whom were 17 children.
